Wednesday 19th December was a big day and you'll be forgiven by being mildly distracted with the release of the draft Environment (Principles and Governance) Bill. But, also released on this day was the consultation on how we will measure our progress against the 10 goals of the 25 Year Environment Plan using a set of key indicators to show environmental change.
This draft indicator framework has been published to show progress towards the final framework. You can read the framework here: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/766207/indicator-framework-consult-document.pdf
The consultation to review and make suggestions on improving it is open until 11:45pm on 25 January 2019.
The Gloucestershire Local Nature Partnership would like to draft a combined response that represents the thoughts of our members. Please send your feedback, company responses or personal viewed to jackie@gloucestershirenature.org.uk by Sunday 20th January. If sufficient responses are gathered we will draft a response and return for quick review and pressing comments on Thursday 19th January, prior to submission on Friday 25th January.
If you wish to respond with your comments directly, you can do so via email or post, as below:
