Nat-Map is a nature-based project mapping tool that will enable partners and stakeholders across the county to add, view and showcase the great work that Gloucestershire is doing to enhance our biodiversity and protect against climate change.
This tool is powered by you!
If you have any environmentally focused project that is either underway, complete, in development or even a concept or idea, then we would love for you to add it to Nat-Map! The map relies solely on organisations submitting their own projects.
We aspire for Nat-Map to be a valuable resource to see what other people and organisations are doing for the benefit of the environment, support collaborative working and the sharing of best practice, as well as help identify opportunities to invest in nature-based projects that are at idea/concept stage, but not yet off the ground. As the GLNP, we can also identify any project ideas that need a helping hand from us to take them to the next stage.
Grow awareness and deliver more
The tool will aim to help us not only improve awareness of the wide array of projects underway across the county, but also help us identify which goals of the 25 Year Environment Plan (YEP) we are delivering. We hope that it not only showcases the great work that Gloucestershire is doing to enhance our biodiversity and protect against climate change, but also grow our understanding and evidence-base, whilst bringing more investment into the county by supporting ideas to come to fruition.
In Partnership
GLNP have been working with partners the Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group South West (FWAG SW) to develop this tool. We are now seeking all other GLNP partners to help us shape the tool over the coming weeks by adding your own project information and sharing feedback with us.
